What made you get into the sport?

"I started off playing volleyball when I was 9 years old with my local club, mostly playing for fun; then at 14 I started to really crack down on Volleyball and began training more regularly towards a full-time basis. I earned my first International cap at age 15 and the rest is history."

What has been your most memorable moment so far?

"My most memorable moments include qualifying for the U21 World Championships in 2016 in Lucerne Switzerland, and retaining our British University National Championship in 2018; these were really big goals that I actually felt reflected the hard work and commitment I’d shown for the sport, and both will always be really special for me"

What is your favourite part of the sport?

"My favourite part of the game is the intensity; the fire and the passion that the sport brings, as well as the need to focus and embrace the situation. That feeling of being 100% zoned in on the match and giving it everything. In terms of the sport my favourite part is the friendships you make; your team mates, your coaches, your opponents. I love the camaraderie and am so lucky to have met so many amazing people from all over the world, and to have life long friends from volleyball."

What are your aspirations?

"...to continue pursuing my volleyball career for as long as possible, and to play and compete at the highest level in the sport. Its a big goal of mine to qualify for a major games or event one day, and to hopefully leave some kind of legacy behind for future players."
